CGS TRUST SCHOOLS GET ACTIVE FOR SPORT RELIEF!

ChildrenPNGOn March 18th hundreds of children from CGS Trust schools across Bristol embraced the opportunity to raise money for Sport Relief.

At Colston’s Girls’ School Year 7 students competed in an obstacle race against the clock; Bannerman Road Community Academy children were sponsored for wearing their PE kits throughout the day; and at Fairlawn School children undertook a variety of sponsored activities from hopping and skipping to obstacle courses and gymnastics.

Rachel Cockcroft, PE Lead for CGS Trust, said “It’s great to see our family of schools all contributing with such enthusiasm for Sport Relief. The children have been instrumental in developing the programme of activities for today and they can’t wait to find out how much money we have raised.”
