BANNERMAN ROAD COMMUNITY ACADEMY BRINGS HOME THE TROPHY FOR GROUP ACTING AT THE MID SOMERSET FESTIVAL, BATH

For the fifth consecutive year students from Bannerman Road Community Academy, a member of the CGS Trust family of schools, entered the Mid Somerset Festival, and this year they returned to school jubilant, carrying an enormous trophy and an Outstanding Award for Primary Group Acting.

A ‘Verse Speaking Award’ was also scooped up by two students who were both awarded second place out of over 60 participants in each age category.Bannerman Rd trophy March16

Paula Shore, Executive Head of Primary for CGS Trust said how proud she was of the students’ performance. “For primary age children to represent their school in a regional competition takes enormous confidence,” she said. “The pupils of Bannerman Road Community Academy were triumphant at the Mid Somerset Festival and the whole school has come together in celebrating their success.”
